Project Description

The ASEAN-KOREA FIELD(Football Interpersonal Exchange and Leadership Development) Program aims to strengthen the cooperation between ASEAN and ROK through interpersonal exchange and engagement of ASEAN football experts to participate in dynamic football training and related industry.

This program would contribute to the implementation of the ASEAN Work Plan on Sport 2021 – 2025, particularly the Priority area 3: Professional Capacity Development, Sports Integrity and Sports Science and priorities on Sports(3.8.) under the ASEAN-ROK Plan of Action to Implement the Joint Vision Statement for Peace, Prosperity and Partnership 2021-2025.

Two different agencies would implement this program in cooperation: the ‘Korea Football Association Love Sharing Foundation(hereinafter the KFA Foundation)’ and the ‘Sangmyung University Cheonan Council for Industry Academic Cooperation Foundation(hereinafter the Sangmyung University)’. KFA Foundation offers the program with their expertise in football training and coaching and Sangmyung University provides the courses for medical and Conditioning and Training professionals.

Korea Football Association Love Sharing Foundation

In October 2004, the Foundation under the name “Youth Football Foundation” to promote the Grassroots Football with the contributions of KFA and the benefits of the ‘2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan’. And in 2018, the name had been changed to ‘Korea Football Association Football-Love Sharing Foundation’ to expand its contribution to social contribution, national and international level support with football.

The Foundation aims to contribute to its social responsibility such as the balanced development of Korea football and returning gained benefits not only to football industry but also to public through various social programs.

Sangmyung University Cheonan Industry Academic Cooperation

Since its establishment in 2004, Sangmyung University Cheonan Industry-University Cooperation Foundation has been building a close cooperation system with the government and local communities to foster consumer-oriented human resources who will contribute to the industrial society based on the university's research capabilities.

In addition, we are carrying out various diplomatic projects such as human resource development and exchange, cultural and academic exchange, etc. based on various convergence and convergence between different fields in preparation for the era of the 4th industrial revolution.
