As part of the Critical Minerals Management and Strategy for Sustainable Environment in ASEAN project, the Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programmes in East and Southeast Asia (CCOP) is organising the Third Technical & Database Workshops from 21 to 25 April 2025 in Pattaya, Thailand.

The workshops bring together government officials and experts from ASEAN Member States (AMS) to strengthen regional cooperation and capacity in the critical minerals sector.

The technical workshop focuses on enhancing participants’ understanding of the identification and assessment of critical minerals, as well as deepening knowledge in evaluation methods and supply chain management. Meanwhile, the database workshop provides a platform for participants to review and update the development of a regional digital platform and database on critical minerals, contributing to more integrated and data-driven resource management in the region.

Supported by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), this initiative reflects a commitment for fostering environmental sustainability in the region.
